1.1. The entry fee for each event will be confirmed in the event details published by the organiser. Entry fees are payable in full before the start of the event.
1.2. Each event may be capped at a maximum number of players, as stated in the event details. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
1.3. By paying the entry fee, all players agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1.4. Entry fees are non-refundable except where the organiser cancels the event.
1.5. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove a player from the event where necessary, for example due to inappropriate behaviour or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Tournament Format
Groups and matches
2.1. The format of each event — including the number of players, groups, legs and stages — will be confirmed in the event details. The organiser reserves the right to adjust the format if required, for example due to changes in attendance.
2.2. Where a group stage is used, matches may be played in a round robin format, with each player facing every other player in their group once.
2.3. The number of legs per match and the game format (for example 501 or 301) will be confirmed by the organiser before the event begins.
2.4. Standard darts rules apply unless otherwise stated. A leg is typically won by being the first to finish on a double, unless the organiser specifies otherwise on the night.
Scoring and standings
2.5. Points are awarded as follows unless the organiser states otherwise:
1 point for a match win
0 points for a match loss
2.6. Group positions are decided in this order:
a) Total points
b) Leg difference (legs won minus legs lost)
c) If still tied, the result between the tied players
d) If still tied, a single leg play-off or bull-up, at the organiser's discretion
2.7. In the event of a player withdrawing or failing to complete their fixtures, the organiser will decide how any unplayed matches are treated, for example whether they are voided or awarded as walkovers. The organiser's decision is final.
3. Knockout Stage
3.1. Where a knockout stage is included, the number of players progressing from each group and the structure of the knockout rounds will be confirmed in the event details or announced before play begins.
3.2. The number of legs for each knockout round will be confirmed by the organiser before that stage begins.
3.3. The draw for knockout matches will be determined by the organiser.
3.4. All knockout matches are played straight through unless otherwise agreed by the organiser.
4. Prize Fund and Payouts
4.1. The prize structure for each event will be published in the event details. Where applicable, the advertised prize fund is based on a full field of paid entries.
4.2. If fewer players enter than anticipated, or if there are any free entries, the organiser reserves the right to reduce prize money proportionally or adjust the distribution of prizes.
4.3. Any revised prize fund will be announced before the first game starts. Once play begins, the published prize structure for that event is final.
4.4. Prize money is paid at the end of the tournament. It is the responsibility of the player to remain available to collect their prize.
5. Highest Checkout Prize
5.1. Where a highest checkout prize is offered, this will be awarded to the player who achieves the single highest finishing score in one leg during the event, across all stages.
5.2. To qualify, the checkout must be witnessed and recorded by the match marker or organiser.
5.3. In the event of a tie on the same highest checkout score, the organiser may:
a) share the prize between tied players, or
b) use the earliest recorded checkout as the tiebreaker
The chosen approach will be confirmed on the night.
6. Match Procedures and Timing
6.1. Players must be ready to play when called.
6.2. If a player is not present when required, the organiser may award the match to the opponent or adjust the schedule to keep the event running.
6.3. Reasonable warm-up time will be allowed before the event and between matches, at the organiser's discretion.
6.4. All scoring is to be carried out by an appointed marker or by mutual agreement between players. Where there is any dispute over the score, the marker's decision is final.
7. Behaviour and Conduct
7.1. All players are expected to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner towards opponents, markers, staff and other customers.
7.2. Abusive language, intimidation, deliberate distraction, aggressive behaviour or damage to equipment will not be tolerated.
7.3. The organiser reserves the right to warn, dock legs, disqualify or remove any player whose conduct is deemed unacceptable.
7.4. Any player removed or disqualified will forfeit their entry fee and any claim to prize money.
