Built by players, run by players, for everyone from once-a-year casuals to county-ranked throwers. We're Colchester's home of darts, and we're glad you're here.
In 2021 we got tired of squinting at a worn-out board in the corner of the local, so we built the room we wanted to play in.
Eight regulation oches. Tournament-quality boards. Lighting that doesn't kill your eyes. A bar that doesn't push you into a £15 cocktail you didn't ask for. And, most importantly, a room where the league regular, the office party, and the eight-year-old learning their first 180 all feel equally welcome.
We've grown into Colchester's biggest dedicated darts venue, hosting county-ranked tournaments, three running leagues, and somewhere north of 20,000 walk-ins a year. None of that matters more than the regular Tuesday-night crowd who turn up for two hours of straight throws and a pint.
That's the brief. We're not a “darts experience.” We're a darts bar. We just made sure to do it properly.
Founders Pete and Mia open the doors with three lanes in a converted office on Crouch Street. Average crowd: 14. Average optimism: high.
The Monday House League runs its first season, 24 players, 8 weeks, one trophy made of an old dart and a beermat. We expand to 5 lanes.
Lanes 7 & 8 added with broadcast lighting and auto-scoring. We start hosting county-ranked tournaments. House pro Liam Carr joins.
Tungstens, flights, accessories, and the free fitting service that's brought players from Ipswich and Chelmsford. The kitchen extension lands the same year.
Full venue redesign, three running leagues, juniors coaching, and our biggest tournament calendar to date. Same pint price as 2022, mind you.
No "level" gatekeeping, no judgement at the oche. The league captain and the nervous first-timer get the same welcome and the same coaching offer.
No app to download to play. No QR menus. Auto-scoring on the pro lanes is opt-in. Steel tip on quality boards is the whole point.
Honest pint prices, kitchen open late, Liam at the bar most nights, and a door policy that's "play darts & don't be a dick."
A small team, on the floor most nights. Pop over and say hi.
