The Legion Darts Academy is a separate entity. It shares our location but runs its own bookings, pricing and policies.
- Using our website and venue
2.1. These Terms & Conditions apply when you:
- Use our website
- Place an order online or in venue
- Make a booking (including oches, events and tournaments)
- Purchase a ticket
- Enter The Boardroom premises
2.2. By doing any of the above, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions and any specific rules displayed in the venue or on event pages.
2.3. We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes apply from the date shown at the top of this page. Please keep a copy of the current version for your records.
- Eligibility
3.1. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase age-restricted items (for example, alcohol or any other restricted goods).
3.2. By placing an order for any age-restricted item, you confirm that you meet the relevant legal age requirement. We may ask for proof of age and refuse service if suitable proof is not provided.
3.3. We reserve the right to refuse entry, service or sales where required by law or where behaviour is inappropriate or unsafe.
- Placing an order (online or in-store)
4.1. To place an order online:
- Browse and add products to your basket
- Check your details and submit your order
- We will email an order acknowledgement – this is not acceptance of the order
- A contract is formed only when we dispatch your items and send a dispatch confirmation
4.2. If we cannot accept your order, we will refund any payment taken. Reasons may include (but are not limited to):
- Stock availability issues
- Pricing or description errors
- Failed security or payment checks
- Delivery restrictions or regulatory reasons
4.3. In venue, a contract is formed when payment is taken for the goods or services.
- Pricing and payment
5.1. Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
5.2. Delivery costs, where applicable, are shown at checkout and may vary by service and location.
5.3. We accept payment by the methods shown at checkout or at the till (for example, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, etc.).
5.4. We try to ensure that all prices are accurate. If a pricing error occurs:
- We are not obliged to supply the item at the incorrect price
- We will contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel
5.5. Promotional codes:
- Usually one code per order, unless stated otherwise
- Non-transferable and not redeemable for cash
- Valid only for the dates, products and conditions stated in the promotion
- Product information
6.1. We work hard to display product specifications, images and descriptions clearly and accurately.
6.2. Small variations can occur between production batches (for example, packaging changes, minor cosmetic differences). These do not normally affect performance.
6.3. Personalised or custom items are made to your specifications. Please double-check spelling, options and details before confirming your order.
- Availability
7.1. Stock levels are shown in good faith.
7.2. If an item becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and:
- Offer an alternative where suitable, or
- Arrange a prompt refund for the unavailable item
- Delivery
8.1. We deliver to the UK and selected regions, as shown at checkout.
8.2. Delivery options and estimated timeframes are displayed during checkout. Dispatch estimates are given in working days and are not guaranteed.
8.3. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes when full payment is received.
8.4. Please check parcels on arrival and report any transit damage or obvious issues within 48 hours where possible, so we can investigate with the courier.
- Right to cancel – distance purchases (online orders)
9.1. If you are a UK consumer, you have a statutory right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
9.2. To exercise this right, you must tell us clearly within 14 days of receiving the goods that you wish to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
9.3. Items must be returned in new, unused condition with all original packaging (unless they were received faulty or damaged).
9.4. When you cancel under your legal rights, we will refund:
- The price of the goods, and
- The standard outbound delivery cost (if you return the entire order)
9.5. You are responsible for the cost of returning items when cancelling for change of mind.
9.6. This legal right does not apply to:
- Personalised or custom items made to your specification
- Sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed
- Items that have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery
- Our goodwill returns policy
10.1. Separate to your legal rights, we offer a store returns policy that allows returns within [30 days] for unused items in their original packaging.
10.2. Personalised or custom items are excluded from this goodwill policy unless faulty.

- Faulty or misdescribed goods
11.1. You are protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
11.2. If a product is faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose, please contact us with:
- Your order number, and
- A description and photos of the issue
11.3. We will arrange a repair, replacement or refund within a reasonable time, depending on the nature and timing of the fault.
11.4. For faults developing after 30 days, we may test the product and choose to repair, replace or refund as appropriate.
- Exchanges
12.1. If you would like to swap an item (for example, a different weight or variant of darts), please start a return and tell us your preferred alternative.
12.2. We will confirm stock availability and any price difference before shipping the replacement.
- Personalised and custom items
13.1. Engraved, printed or built-to-order products are made specifically to your request.
13.2. These items cannot normally be cancelled, changed or returned once production has started, unless they are faulty.
13.3. We will correct any genuine workmanship or manufacturing issues quickly and fairly.
- Gift cards
14.1. Gift cards (physical or digital) are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
14.2. Gift cards are not refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and may not be resold.
14.3. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced without satisfactory proof of purchase.
- Bookings, oches and services
15.1. Standard oche bookings are for up to 4 players per oche, for 55 minutes per session, unless stated otherwise. A maximum of 2 sessions per oche per booking (110 minutes) normally applies.
15.2. Please arrive five minutes early so you are ready to start on time. Late arrival may shorten your session and no refund will be due for time lost.
15.3. We reserve the right to refuse entry or service for:
- Unsafe, disruptive or abusive behaviour
- Excessive intoxication
- Breaches of venue rules or instructions from staff
15.4. Reschedules or cancellations must normally be made [24 hours] in advance. Cancellations or changes within this window may be charged in full.
15.5. The Legion Darts Academy operates its own timetable, pricing and policies. Please refer directly to the Academy for terms relating to academy sessions and events.
- Venue rules, behaviour and safety
16.1. All visitors must follow any safety notices, staff instructions and in-venue rules, including those relating to:
- Use of oches and equipment
- Responsible drinking
- Age restrictions and ID checks
- Respect for staff, other guests and neighbours
16.2. We expect all players and visitors to behave in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner. Abusive language, intimidation, deliberate distraction, aggressive behaviour or damage to equipment will not be tolerated.
16.3. We may warn, pause play, ask you to leave, refuse future entry, or cancel bookings if behaviour is considered unsafe or unacceptable. Entry fees, booking fees or any unused balance may be forfeited in such cases.
16.4. You are responsible for any damage you cause to our property or equipment beyond normal wear and tear.
- Photography, video and social media
17.1. From time to time we may take photos and video in The Boardroom during normal opening hours and at organised events, including leagues, tournaments, round robins, socials and private bookings. This content may include guests in the background or as part of wider venue shots.
17.2. We use this material for legitimate business purposes, including marketing and promoting The Boardroom, for example on:
- Our website
- Social media channels
- Email marketing
- Print materials
- In-venue screens and displays
17.3. By entering The Boardroom premises, you acknowledge that you may be photographed or filmed and you agree that we may use your image and likeness in this way, without payment, in all media now known or developed in future, worldwide, for the life of the business, provided we use it in a lawful and reasonable manner.
17.4. If you would prefer not to appear in photos or video, please inform a member of staff or the person taking the photo/filming at the time. We will take reasonable steps to:
- Avoid making you a main subject in any imagery, and/or
- Seat or position you off camera where practical
17.5. Where children or young people are the clear focus of photography or video, we will only capture and use that content with the permission of a parent or guardian present, or in line with any separate consent obtained for academy or junior events.
17.6. If you see an image or clip of yourself on our channels that you would like us to stop using, please contact us. We will review your request promptly and remove or limit use where appropriate and reasonably possible.

- User accounts and security
18.1. If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
18.2. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Please tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or any security issue.
- Intellectual property
19.1. All content on our website and in our branding – including text, images, logos, designs and graphics – is owned by us or our licensors.
19.2. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only.
19.3. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or use our content for any other purpose without our prior written permission.
- Reviews, comments and community standards
20.1. We love honest feedback. When posting reviews or comments, please keep them fair, accurate and respectful.
20.2. We may moderate, edit or remove content that we reasonably consider to be unlawful, misleading, offensive or in breach of these terms.
20.3. By posting a review or comment, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use it in our marketing and promotional materials (with credit where practical).
- Liability
21.1. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any rights and remedies you have that cannot be excluded by law
21.2. For other loss or damage, we are responsible only for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our negligence.
21.3. We are not liable for:
- Business losses
- Loss of profit, revenue or anticipated savings
- Loss of data
- Indirect or consequential loss
21.4. Our total liability for any single claim will not exceed the price paid for the relevant product, service or booking.
- Events outside our control
22.1. If something happens outside our reasonable control that affects our ability to perform (for example, strikes, extreme weather, technical failures, pandemics, transport or carrier issues), we will:
- Let you know as soon as reasonably possible, and
- Take reasonable steps to minimise the impact
22.2. We will not be liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our control, but we will work with you to find a fair solution, such as rebooking where possible.

23.1. We handle your personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

- Complaints
24.1. We aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly. If you have a complaint or concern, please contact us at [email protected] or by phone on 01206 645180.
24.2. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to use Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). Details are available on request.
- Governing law and jurisdiction
25.1. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
25.2. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

The Boardroom "180 Challenge"
- The challenge
1.1. The Boardroom 180 Challenge runs every Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 during normal opening hours, unless otherwise stated by the organiser.
1.2. We may vary the time or suspend the challenge on specific dates (for example special events or holiday hours such as Christmas Day). Any changes will be announced in venue and/or on our social channels.
1.3. Each attempt consists of:
- 9 warm-up darts, followed by
- 3 scored darts (your "last 3 darts").
1.4. If a player scores a 180 with their last 3 darts, they win £50 store credit.
- Eligibility
2.1. The challenge is open to all visitors aged 11+ unless otherwise stated by the organiser.
2.2. Staff may participate only if explicitly permitted on the day and not while on shift.
2.3. By taking part, players confirm they are fit to play and will follow venue rules and staff instructions.
- Attempts and limits
3.1. Entry is FREE as displayed in venue or on our socials.
3.2. One attempt per person per week.
3.3. A "week" runs from Saturday to Friday inclusive. Your attempt resets each Saturday at 10:00.
3.4. Attempts must be taken on an assigned oche under staff supervision or a nominated marker.
3.5. A reasonable throwing time is expected. Deliberate delay or gamesmanship may void an attempt.
- Validity of a winning attempt
4.1. A winning 180 must be:
- Thrown during the scored last 3 darts (not warm-up), and
- Witnessed by a member of staff or approved marker.
4.2. Standard darts rules apply. Any dart that bounces out does not count.
4.3. The organiser's decision on whether an attempt counts, is final.
- Prize (store credit)
5.1. The prize is £50 store credit redeemable at The Boardroom (in-store only).
5.2. Store credit:
- Has no cash alternative
- Cannot be exchanged or transferred
- Cannot be used to purchase [gift cards / memberships / restricted items] unless stated otherwise.
- Behaviour and fairness
6.1. Players must conduct themselves respectfully. Abuse, distraction, intimidation, or unsafe behaviour will result in disqualification.
6.2. Any attempt to manipulate the challenge (for example, interfering with another player or equipment) voids entry and prize eligibility.
- Changes or cancellation
7.1. The Boardroom may amend, pause, or cancel the challenge at any time if required for operational or safety reasons.
7.2. Any changes to format, time window, eligibility or prize will be communicated before attempts begin.
- Acceptance
8.1. By entering the 180 Challenge, players confirm they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions and The Boardroom's general venue rules.
